Coach Carson is a highly experienced strength and conditioning coach at Sacramento Athletic Center (SAC), specializing in youth athletic development and personal training for adults of all fitness levels. With over 10 years of hands-on coaching experience, he brings a results-driven yet approachable style that helps athletes and clients train with confidence, purpose, and longevity.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). For the past 8 years, he has worked closely alongside physical therapists, giving him a deep understanding of movement quality, injury prevention, and safe progression—especially important for growing youth athletes and busy adults alike.
Throughout his career, Coach Carson has trained a wide range of populations, including youth athletes, general fitness clients, collegiate and professional athletes. His training philosophy blends science-based programming with real-world application, utilizing a variety of training methods to improve strength, speed, mobility, and overall athleticism.
Known for his charismatic, energetic, and welcoming coaching style, Coach Carson creates an environment where athletes are challenged, motivated, and supported. He believes great training should be effective, engaging, and sustainable—whether preparing a young athlete for competition or helping parents build strength, resilience, and long-term health.
An athlete himself, he maintains an active lifestyle and continues to play basketball multiple times per week, keeping him connected to the demands of sport and movement. His passion for performance, combined with his experience and personality, makes him a trusted coach for families and athletes throughout the SAC community.
